We moved here in 1997 The home has had major remodels done on it. The lake is an old gravel pit to make road base for local road construction. The buoys in the lake are scuba projects from the local college CMU, and hold lots of fish. Other nesting platforms are for our local Geese and they hatch out in April-June. We airbnb 2 rooms in our home as a shared facility and have airbnbs in Northern Ca and Baja. Our home is off limits for campers as we need to respect the space for our other airbnb guests. But in an emergence please call, cell service works fine. port-a potty is gone for the winter November-April. port-a potty is clean and works great, May- Oct. If you are here in the winter you may use the trees or Mavericks gas station in 1.5 miles away.

Beautiful little spot. We just did a quick overnight on our way through town. I would stay here again.

Beautiful place! Located very close to a lot of popular winery’s and downtown palisade! Lake was perfect for paddle boarding!

The lake was awesome - especially on this hot weekend. Other than having a little more shade, this was a great location to spend a weekend.

Quiet private lake with sunset view
We loved camping on this private lake. There were multiple docks with canoes and a paddle board available to use. There were multiple sites but only 1 other person camping while we were here, so it was nice and quiet. The sites were all stocked with firewood and there is a port-a potty to use. We would stay here again.

Lakeside tent site
This tent site was nicely level and right by the small lake. It is a long, somewhat narrow driveway to get your car parked and the port o potty is a pretty long walk. But the scenery is beautiful!
